If you're new to drum n' bass, stay away – this is hard to the core. I bought this back in Summer 99 and loved it the second it came on. I still listen to it nearly every day. According to the sleeve notes, Hype had to do this mix 3 times because one of his decks had a technical fault. But don't worry, it doesn't show. Technically flawless, Hype's mixing is complemented by him playing with the sounds using some sort of effects unit to make the mix stand out above the raft of drum n' bass mix CD's coming out at the moment. If you can only afford to buy a couple of CD's this month and you don't have it already, make sure you include this one in your list. I thoroughly recommend it…
