The Downtown Livewires - I'll Do It Today, But Not Right Now! (2019)

The Downtown Livewires play out of one of the fastest growing regions in the nation: Northwest Arkansas (Bentonville). The Downtown Livewires play high energy Electric rhythm and blues, and legacy blues. Audiences of their shows love to dance and sing along, no matter the venue, whether it be clubs, festivals, private parties, or city events.

The band members have played professionally for an accumulative 100 years, and together for 3 years. They have played at many venues, including world famous Beale Street in Memphis, the “Blues in the Natural State” BluesFest in Fayetteville, AR, and The Grape Festival as the "warm-up" band for Country Platinum recording artist Collin Raye. Their first CD came out, "Cruisin' for a Bluesin", August 2nd, 2013, in which a CD Release Party was held, along with 2 hours of LIVE music from the band, at George’s Majestic Lounge on Dickson St in Fayetteville, AR.

The leaders of the band are Roger Thomas from Memphis, TN, playing guitar and providing lead vocals. Roger is known for jumping off the stage and playing, dancing and singing within the crowd. He also invites guests to sing songs on-stage, and even maybe play tambourine. Bob Coleman is out of New Haven, Connecticut on harmonica and also lead vocals, and has played with blues legends all over the country throughout his illustrious career. And Kurt Haas is on keyboards and vocals from Lone Star, TX, and is known for his stellar new arrangements of old blues songs.

The Downtown Livewires put on a show that is absolutely engaging, full of fun and great party music!
