Long overdue, Sloppy Seconds finally released Endless Bummer in 2008, an 18-track manifesto to add to the junk rock canon. The disc’s title might suggest a depressing theme in the hands of a less inspired band, but Sloppy Seconds promise to make it a fitting new chapter in the story of that never-ending party they started on a summer night years ago. The kings of junk rock? Long may they reign!

Short BIO: Sloppy Seconds is a Ramones-influenced punk band from Indianapolis that started in the mid-1980s. With such underground hits as "Come Back, Traci" (a tribute to an under aged Traci Lords), "I Want 'em Dead", and "So Fucked up", the band prefers to sing about such topics as pornography, classic horror movies, old TV shows, comic books, alcohol, being fat, and getting drunk. They have been quoted as being proud to be fat, drunk, and stupid. Their name is the slang term for when a man has intercourse with another person who already has received another man's semen in the relevant orifice.

    A new punk classic!

I can't believe this is finally out! The boys in Sloppy Seconds aren't exactly the most prolific of musicians (their last full-length was 1998's 'More Trouble Than They're Worth'), but their releases are always worth the wait.

I stumbled upon 'Endless Bummer' at my local independent record store last week, and a smile lit up my face when I saw the classic logo emblazoned across a NEW release from this legendary punk rock band. When I got home and threw on the disc, that smile turned to tears of joy when I realized that these longtime heroes of mine had made an AMAZING record!

"You Can't Kill Joey Ramone" and "P.O. Box 33046" feature brilliant hooks that will firmly implant themselves into your cranium so that you'll be humming them (whether you like it or not) when you wake up in the morning, you're bored at work, you're trying tune out your family, etc. But really, every song on the disc is a hit. Great lyrics & a great vocal performance by B.A.

This is one of those albums you *know* you're gonna listen to for the rest of your life. No lie!

    Fantastic Lyrics!

Sloppy Seconds YES! I'm a new fan and now cannot get enough of this band. This cd is pure entertainment. The lyrics are written in such a straight foreword bittersweet manner. You will laugh out loud while you snap your fingers. Nothing else can compare to this band. Buy this one to listen to LOUD and LONG on road trips. They have truly created their own genre. LONG LIVE Junk Rock!
