Walk Between Worlds is the eighteenth studio album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds, due to be released in February 2018 by BMG Rights Management.Tracklist:
Walk Between Worlds heralds a major lineup change and is the first Simple Minds album since 2002 without drummer Mel Gaynor or keyboardist Andy Gillespie. Catherine AD aka The Anchoress has now joined the band, and she featured in the video for "Magic", the lead single from the new album. Walk Between Worlds will be performed in its entirety in February 2018 during seven concerts throughout Europe.
The album artwork is by Brazilian visual artist Heitor Magno (whose work is often a surreal montage of vivid coloured imagery and black and white photography). The front cover image shows a central character bearing an uncanny resemblance to a young Jim Kerr. The album sleeve can also be viewed as a telling throwback to the Sons and Fascination era.
