Scrolls of Grace - Christmas Tree (2019)

Scrolls of Grace are believers in Jesus Christ! He is the reason for the season! The name is derived from Hebrews 8:10 Which describes a New Covenant where God puts his laws into our minds and writes them on our hearts. Thus we are the Scrolls of His Grace.

Scott W Campbell has a love for the Christmas season, music and epic movies and decided to blend those concepts into the Album “Christmas Tree”.
Scott, has been working on this Christmas album for about 3 years and with the help of his wife, Luisa, he was finally able to complete it.

“Christmas Tree”, is a “progressive rock” style interpretation to traditional Christmas carols. These songs are not intended to replace them but were simply a creative outlet inspired by these songs.

In this album, we’ve also created several original songs, keeping with the “Seasonal and Epic” flavors of the album.

The symbolism in “Christmas Tree”, loosely reminded Scott of God’s love for us because He sent His Son to die, giving the gift of eternal life. Even though the song is drawing a comparison of Jesus as a tree and ornament, please don’t take the symbolism too far. Jesus is not a Christmas tree or an ornament, and He is not dead, (He has risen from the dead) and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him and call on His name. Rom 10:10-13

It is our prayer that this album will not only bring you joy, but draw you closer to the author and perfecter of our faith.
