Frankfurt-based house artist Sascha Dive is set to release his debut album, Restless Nights, late this summer.
For the past few years, Dive has been a go-to producer for stripped down, US house-inspired tracks, many of which contributed to the deep house resurgence at the end of the last decade. He rose to fame with cuts like "Deepest America" and "Annihilating Rhythm," while releasing artists like Scott Ferguson and Brothers' Vibe on his own label, Deep Vibes Recordings. He is a stalwart of the so-called Rhein-Main school of producers, and last year boosted his DJ credentials with From Frankfurt to Mannehim, a two-disc compilation he mixed with Reboot.
Restless Nights boasts eight new tunes by Dive, plus two that we already know: "Jus Groove" and "The Get Out of the Ghetto Blues," recently released on Tsuba and Raum… musik respectively. Based on the tracklist, the album seems similar in motif to last year's controversial Panther EP.
