Gary Moore is one of the best rock and blues guitarists ever to come out of Ireland. Following stints in Skid Row, Thin Lizzy and Colosseum II, he began a hugely successful solo career in the eighties. Gary Moore has been a frequent visitor to Montreux over the years and this 2-DVD set brings together his very best performances from five different concerts between 1990 and 2001.Here, every song was played individually and by hand… to quote pants the dead shortly. Gary Moore is an exceptional musician. He gives his plays the best without great clutter. What matters is the music alone. And one sees that Gary Moore playing. It makes music with taxonomy, but with body and soul here.The selected tracks are perfect! Certainly many ballads are in the process, but compared the rock pieces are also not neglected. Anyway, I expected the mix so basically by Gary Moore.The quality of the DVD is fantastic. Great sound, great cut. You can watch Gary Moore quite sometimes when playing on the finger.
