The Danish composer Mogens Christensen (b. 1955) is a true alchemist of sound with an exquisite sense of tone colour. This album presents three of his key works that travel through the realm of the incorporeal, from the esoteric Logitanion through the exoteric Couronne (2005) and down to direct personal experience in Night Flying Winter Cranes (2009). Three levels of consciousness – and three unforgettable listening experiences.
