Maria Callas was a fantastic "Norma". Maybe the best role for her. The superb cavatina of Norma (Casta Diva or Pure Godess) is regarded as one of the most beautiful arias ever. This live recording was effected at London on 8/11/1952, from a performance held at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. As all recordings in these series, it is digitally remastered and you can enjoy it at the best possible quality.
