Magic Munchbox - Intergalactic Fantastic (2019)

Magic Munchbox is not your typical instrumental rock band. Hailing from the belly button of America, the quartet has been surprising, energizing, and tantalizing Oklahoma audiences since 2013. Their mission? To induce full-body wet eargasms.

While the band audibly draws from progressive rock, Magic Munchbox is just as likely to credit retro video games for its sound as it is to cite Rush or Frank Zappa as influences. The group's genre-pushing tendencies manifest in funky guitars and kinetic rhythms that blend in sweet, sweet (and sometimes sour) psychedelia-tinged sonic atmospheres.

Whether it's a mind-melting guitar solo that nearly resembles a 1970's jazz flute or an out-of-nowhere blues breakdown, the constantly shifting grooves of Magic Munchbox never cease to keep listeners' ears on their toes.

After years of playing underground shows and local music festivals alike, the band is finally set to release its long-awaited debut record, an album fittingly titled “Intergalactic Fantastic”.

Whether from the studio or the stage, the group's music is a guaranteed adventure. It lures the listener into its smooth, sexy, vibrant world where the ground is made of gummy worms and the liquor stores never close.
