Mach Pelican were a Japanese Bop Punk trio formed in Perth, Australia in 1996. Back in 1996, three Japanese in Perth decided to form a band. It seemed like a good way to make buddies, make a noise, and see around the country. After touring extensively, Mach Pelican moved to Melbourne in 1998. They we're one of the most renowned pop-punk outfits in Australia. In eleven years, Mach Pelican played 800 shows, touring Japan and Europe, as well as their non stop coast-to-coast shows across Australia. After 11 years of impossibly adorable punk rock, the band's oficially split in 2007 was a result of personal differences and immigration problems.
