Lockenhaus Festival 1982-1992: A decade of music making
    Philips 1997 | 11 CDS | FLAC | covers & booklet | 3,2 GB

"… for ten years Lockenhaus stood for something human, for the joy of communication, of acquaintances, of tranquility and of friendship. At Lockenhaus humour was never abandoned and learning was a high priority. The music made it all posible, music that was loved, needed and enjoyed on both sides of the podium - by both artist and audiences … The native and guests of Lockenhaus gave us their undivided attention, and we tried to reciprocate for their generosity with our music and our omnipresence. The result was some 1500 performances of early and new music, of the well known and of the daring, hours of struggling for understanding and of total abandonment in music and tranquillity."
Gidon Kremer, The Joy of Communication
