Nevertheless, there's plenty to keep one happy. A version of Frying Pan, which thanks to the eccentricities of the soundboard mix, sounds like it's being covered by Nirvana; Improv I (excerpted on HC)contains a terrific solo from Adrian who later in the set even whips off a snippet of ITCOTCK; whilst an extremely playful Improv II provides the set-up for Cage; they even sound like they're having fun. Well, almost. “Adrian: What did you think of tonight? Robert: At the moment I'm radically re-evaluating my life as a working musician.”
