Recorded mainly in Poland, ‘Nomansland’ is somewhat heavier than ‘Chasing The Dragon’ and, of course, the acoustic ‘Acoustica’ albums. Classic material such as Asia's "Sole Survivor" or the even older "In The Dead Of Night" and "Easy Money" are featured in all-out rock versions. Guitarist David Kilminster delivers a stunning performance on these songs, as well as on the more recent songs like "The Last Thing On My Mind".
Added to all these are some cool instrumental pieces to quiet down the set list a bit. "Tatras" and "Bygosh!!" are wonderful interludes in-between the firmer material.
However; it's the amazing renditions of classics such as "Easy Money" and especially the all-out version of "Starless" that make "Nomansland" - truly - an addition to any John Wetton collection.
