John Barry - A View To A Kill OST

For one reason or another, A View To A Kill is seen as one of the best Bond film scores ever written. Of course, having a good theme song helps immensely, and Duran Duran's effort here is a belter. The musical underscore for this song is romantically adapted by John Barry in the cues 'Bond Meets Stacey' and 'Wine With Stacey' and, in addition to this and the two classic Bond Themes, Barry's original music features a terrific action march, heard in 'Snow Job', 'He's Dangerous', and in the concluding cue 'Golden Gate Fight' - it has an excellent brass section, percussion and accompaniment from a wailing electric guitar. In addition to this there is a tense, string-based theme first heard in 'Pegasus Stable'; and an elegant, yet ominous 'travelling' motif which appears in the cues 'Airship to Silicon Valley' and 'Destroy Silicon Valley'.
