Released in 2008, Hell's Kitchen is a covers album from the German jazz-funk/hip-hop collective inspired by Guru's Jazzmatazz project, Jazzkantine. The follow-up to Braunschweich, Braunschweich! features 12 re-workings of heavy metal classics such as AC/DC's "Highway to Hell," Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters," and Kiss' "I Was Made for Lovin' You," and includes collaborations with Xavier Naidoo, Tom Gaebel, and Sam Leigh Brown. allmusicguide
The project Jazzkantine, a fusion of Jazz & German Rap was founded by Matthias Lanzer (owner of the label Rap Nation), producer & DJ Ole Sander and bass player & producer Christian Eitner.
Each Album features changing members of the international Jazz scene and the 3 german rappers Aleksey, Cappuccino and Tachiles as well as popular guest-rappers and singers like Smudo (from the german group "Die Fantastischen Vier"), Ol' Dirty Bastard or Kelis Sae (from Incognito). discogs
