This recording is programmed like a live concert, mixing seven well-known standards and five Halley Shoenberg originals. You will find a lot of variety in tempos, styles, instrumentation and arrangements. Halley gets a lot of different sounds out of just six musicians. Most tracks have four or five instruments. Some tracks have all six band members playing and two tracks are just Halley playing clarinet and Jon Ozment playing piano.

Here you can catch how jazz musicians interpret melodies of American Songbook standards such as "I’m Old Fashioned," "You Do Something to Me" and "Prelude to a Kiss." Hear jazz versions of Broadway show songs "Matchmaker, Matchmaker" or "Goodnight My Someone."
