"Magellano" is a challenge for Gianni Savelli Media Res: The challenge to create magical music by boundaries of genres, languages and cultures are crossed. Gianni Savelli Media Res is a project that the saxophonist Gianni Savelli has founded in 2000. The ensemble represents a unique sound, which is based on jazz and is inspired by non-European musical traditions and classical music. It is a kind of passion characterized by fascinating memories and full of visions.
