One of the best albums of the french songwriter and singer Francis Cabrel, with best sellers like "Je t' aimais, je t' aime, je t' aimerai", "La Corrida", "Samedi Soir sur la Terre" and others. Romantic, nostalgic, mainly with the guitar and voice of Cabrel, it consists an excellent sample of his artistry.
Francis Cabrel dresse, en 10 chroniques douces amères, le portrait impressionniste d'un monde apocalyptique. Sans céder à la facilité de textes alarmistes, il trouve les mots justes pour traduire avec pudeur ses inquiétudes de citoyen de la planète (l'exclusion, l'écologie, la tauromachie). Seul remède à tous ces maux : les mots d'amour (sublime "Je t'aimais, je t'aime, je t'aimerai", inspiré de la lecture de Christian Bobin). Entre blues et country, Cabrel signe là son plus bel album. Promenant ses douces ballades dépouillées et intimistes depuis 20 ans, il a compris que les meilleures chansons - celles qui durent - sont souvent les plus évidentes.
