By turns sounding like Emmet Otter's Jugband and Mortiis, it offers a really delightful mix of dark soundscape and truly weird acoustic hoedown-almost as if it were the soundtrack to a documentary about the lives of trolls, with ethnographic samples of their folk music. Either that or it's the soundtrack to the lost collaboration between Ingmar Bergman and Jim Henson.
