"We are an Independent band that has always strived to stay true to our musical vision. Our fans have always played a big role in our careers and thanks to them we are still standing. They have been the inspiration for this new album which tells the story of our journey as artists and our struggle with the music industry. We want to create an awakening with this album to inspire people and other artists to stay true to themselves.

"We are the band Elsiane, a collaboration between singer-composer-producer Elsieanne Caplette and drummer Stephane Sotto formed in Montreal in the year 2000. We were once signed under 2 major labels and launched our first album Hybrid in 2007.

We toured across the U.S and Canada playing such major Festivals as the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, Osheaga, M for Montreal and performed with Cirque Du Soleil.

In 2010 we were forced to part ways from our labels since they were influencing us to change our musical style and our sound. In 2012 we released our second album Mechanics of Emotion independently.

Since January 2014 we have been working on this new ambitious production and we are planning the release of our third album entitled Death of the Artist for April 2017, as well as planning a tour in Europe and the US."
