Elmore James Jr. is the undisputed son of legendary blues great, Elmore James, who is regarded today as the father of electric slide guitar. He influenced an entire generation of blues artists with his sizzling delta blues style, from traditional electric Chicago blues to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The elder EJ was known for his raw, passionate performances live and in the studio. His signature song, "I Believe I'll Dust My Broom", is one of the most recognizable and enduring blues classics, and also inspired the name of his band, The Broomdusters. His greatest follower and student was his son, Elmore James Jr.
