Nello Daniele - Uguali A Ieri (2010)

Dopo 3 anni passati tra studi di registrazione e spettacoli live, Nello Daniele (fratello di Pino Daniele) presenta il suo quarto album: Uguali a ieri, prodotto da Tobacco Music di Toto’ Iacobone e distribuito da Universal Music, in uscita il 6 ottobre presso tutti i migliori negozi di dischi e portali musicali on line. Il Radio Day nel nuovo singolo, il secondo dopo il successo di Se t’innamorerai, sempre contenuto nel disco e intitolato Tra le tue mura, uscirà invece in tutte le radio il 15 ottobre p.v.
Uguali a ieri è un progetto interamente suonato in acustico con la collaborazione di grandi musicisti come Agostino Marangolo e Mariano Barba alla batteria, Gigi De Rienzo al basso, Pino Tafuto al pianoforte, Gabriele Borrelli alle percussioni, Bob de Marco al sax e lo stesso Nello Daniele alle chitarre che segna la maturità di un autore che può a tutti gli effetti essere definito un artista libero e lontano da ogni categoria di moda musicale, e allo stesso tempo sempre vicino alla bella melodia e alle sonorità piacevoli e ben curate. Qui l’interpretazione di Nello, classe 1965 e già artefice di tre album musicali di successo, esprime la massima espressività, alternando momenti di ironia e drammaticità al sentimento dell’Amore che traspare nella maggior parte delle sue canzoni. Un disco godibilissimo nel quale è protagonista riconoscibilissima la sua storica chitarra latina che ha sempre inteso essere il giusto collante tra gli elementi partenopei e latino-americani della sua band.
L’album contiene 10 tracce di grande intensità, che toccano varie tematiche di attualità e differenti stati d’animo: si parte da L’emigrante e il cameriere, una piacevole filastrocca che narra una storia d’amore, potere e borghesia per arrivare a Bambino Clandestino, richiamo al problema dell’emigrazione e del razzismo che continua ad essere presente anche nel terzo millennio… In Se t’innamorerai, brano già menzionato che apre l’album, Nello si diverte tra mandole e chitarra, mentre nella struggente e melodica Figli è nisciune è espressa tutta la sua anima in dialetto napoletano. A seguire, l’album non rinnega la sua vena un po’ funky e un po’ latina dei precedenti repertori, riscontrabile nel brano Sognando l’amore, dove trova anche il modo di divertirsi con qualche verso in spagnolo, e in Signora, miscuglio di fado e latin jazz che raggiunge con i musicisti la convivialità tipica dei live suonati nei club.
In questo album si avverte così una maturità sonora e vocale atta a dimostrare che per pensare e realizzare un progetto di buona musica e pura sonorità non occorre servirsi di marchingegni elettronici ultima maniera, ma basta un’idea, l’affiatamento di una band e tanto cuore!

The album contains 10 tracks of great intensity, where several current issues and different moods: Starts at The Immigrant and the waiter, a pleasant rhyme that tells a story of love, power and bourgeoisie to come to Clandestine child, call the problem of emigration and racism that continues to be present in the third millennium … If you fall in love in, a song mentioned that opens the album, In between having fun mandolins and guitar, while the poignant and melodic nisciuno children is his whole soul is expressed in Neapolitan dialect.
