Ludovico Einaudi - The Royal Albert Hall Concert 2cd (2010)

Questo cd, attualmente in vendita, contiene l’esclusivo live di Einaudi presso la Royal Albert Hall di Londra, tenutosi lo scorso 2 marzo. La performance è proposta in una doppia versione: quella Standard contiene due cd, la Deluxe aggiunge ad essi il dvd della serata (primo dvd live realizzato da Ludovico Einaudi nel corso della sua carriera).
“L’idea di registrare questo album è nata durante la tournée di Nightbook, che nella sua ampiezza ha visto ottanta date tra Europa e America, tutte molto seguite dal pubblico – ha raccontato Einaudi alla Feltrinelli di Milano – Ogni concerto è stato diverso dall’altro, perché suonando dal vivo, in situazioni così emozionanti, si sviluppano sempre arrangiamenti nuovi e variazioni di brani interessanti. Per tutta la tournée non ho fatto altro che sognarmi la tappa alla Royal Albert Hall, trattandosi di un luogo leggendario per ogni musicista. E così alla fine ho preso la decisione di registrare proprio quel concerto dal vivo, in un doppio album”.

This CD is currently for sale, contains an exclusive live Einaudi at the Royal Albert Hall in London, held last March 2. The performance is offered in two versions: the Standard contains two CDs, the Deluxe adds to them the DVD of the evening (the first live DVD developed by Ludovico Einaudi during his career).
