Drummer Bill Belasco opens “Beautiful Love” with great brush strokes before Dumaine enters swinging. Each musician in the rhythm section maintains the harmonic foundation of the music with ease before Dave Miller enters to give an astounding piano solo that leads to Brad Buethe’s guitar finesse. This song swings hard and each performer anticipates the main beats of the meter through syncopation that propel the music forward with a strong rhythmic drive.
