    Benny Golson and Curtis Fuller go together like a fine sake & sushi. Benny Golson is a masterful song writer and excels at writing moody bluesy bop tunes. Curtis Fuller, one of the best jazz trombonsists, fits in perfectly with the songs of Golson. Curtis Fuller an excellent song writer in his own right and contributes half of the songs on this album and Golson adds the other half. The album is an underated masterpiece. It is easily one of the best albums of the 50s, which is saying a lot.
