King traveled to Nashville in the early 1980s and recorded overproduced pop ballads written by the likes of honky tonk angels Conway Twitty, Willie Nelson, and Mickey Newbury. King plays guitar about as often as Perry Como and Tom Jones would have. – Frank John Hadley 1993

I must say, this isn't as good as some of his earliest offerings from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. But, I give B.B. tons of pointers for experimenting and trying a slightly different type of music.
Here, King covers songs from Elvis to Conway Twitty for 'Love Me Tender,' which isn't one of his finest moments, but it's highly collectable.
I bought it years ago, and it's great to listen to. 'Night Life' and the title track are both great to hear, and although King doesn't play guitar as much as he does on some of his earliest records, he still uses his great bluesy voice.
Overall, this is a good record that I think is worthy of five stars. But keep in mind that if you're a casual B.B. fan, this probably isn't for you. But if you're a die-hard B.B. fan like I am, than you should enjoy this.
Recommended for B.B. die-hards like me. ENJOY!!!
