    (TÜRKİYE)

    Asia Minor fue fundado por Kamil Erdem en 1990. El grupo, cuyo repertorio está basado en las composiciones de Erdem, se alimenta del jazz y de la música turca y ha desarrollado una identidad musical propia que ellos mismos definen como "ni jazz ni música turca, tanto jazz como música turca".

    El grupo en sus primeros años solo hacía giras en Europa, a partir del año 1994 comenzó a dar conciertos en Turquía. En 1991 sacó su album "Sokak Boyunca- Along the Sreet", en 1996 "Longa Nova" y en 1997 "Kedi Ruyasi- Cat´s Deram". Asia Minor ha participado en numerosos festivales internacionales en Turquía y ha dado conciertos en EEUU, Alemania, Austria, Suiza, Italia, Hungría y Grecia.
