Harris To Dick Dickson – a humorous narrative from comic books, e.mail, and other periodicals found while the composer was moving delivered rhythmically over bass patterns from a thesaurus of scales and patterns, Tom Hamilton "Another Family Resemblance" – a charming song with reminiscences-, Bruce Arnold "Quiet Is The Movement of the Moon" – a pointillistic-like and often funny-sweet study in rhythms derived from the title…
Ratzo B. Harris' "Solos" - a timbrally rich and wonderfully odd redefinition of the idea of soloist with accompaniment, Bruce Arnold Silent Travels - a delicate etude in silent moments and touches of inspired sound combinations that gradually replace the silence, a collective work New Territory (Spring Collection) with individual movements entitled Fast Fast Fast Fast Fast Slow (Harris) - a robust rhythmic gem with textures from free-jazz and free-rock and that special Act of Finding mania, Textural Threads (Arnold) with some incredible electronic work, Can't See the Figure for the Ground (Tom Buckner) in which soloist and accompanist roles are quickly switched, and Destination A (Harris) in which the group improvises over an unresolved drone, and the concluding work by Bruce Arnold Now and Then, for which the group creates a spontaneous, time-stretching and beautifully rich environment about a repeated lyrical melody.
