Vega - What The Hell! (2013)

English Rockband VEGA formed in the summer of 2009 and released their debut album “Kiss of Life” in 2010 to rave reviews across the board. As rock Journo Dave Ling say’s “These guys could have a major role to play in the future”! After a long search VEGA finally secured a worldwide deal with Ninetone/UNIVERSAL RECORDS which will release their 2nd album in Jan 2013 Singer Nick Workman says “We wanted to write an album where every song could have been a single, so we have been spending a lot of time fine tuning the songs. We pretty much demoed each song twice before we were satisfied”. The new album will feature 13 tracks of hook laden “stadium rock songs” that deserve to be play loud!

We always knew that this album was going to be going down a darker road than "kiss of life" and we wanted to avoid the sugar coated stylings and get away from being tagged as "another AOR band". We are just a "rock band" and by doing this album without the restraint of feeling like we needed to add more fluff to it was so much fun and very liberating. Dan said that this album is our “Empire Strikes Back” because in our opinion it's a massive leap from the debut and is also quite dark at times. The cover was inspired by propaganda and revolution artwork. Trying to make it as a band these days is a constant fight so we wanted the album cover to reflect the bands unity and the fact that we are ready for battle!
