Beach Dinner Vol 1 (Summer Beats): an invigoratingly cool combination of Lounge sounds and super-smooth (mostly) female vocals ? with artists such as Lyn Leon, Hellmut Hattler and Camiel ensuring a steady but slow pulse. What is life about? This first collection of easy beats involved a search for very special songs and artists. The result was this exquisite selection of (almost exclusively) female singers, so it seemed to us as if two worlds had been reconciled: the gentle, nurturing nature of the maternal combined with the vibrancy of modern times. Nine different divas each convey the same message in their own way, although almost with one voice: Let go! Relax! Find your inner peace! We were captivated by this deep sensual power of femininity ? comforting and full of affection.
