VA - Secret City 10th Anniversary (2016)

Secret City Records is a Montreal-based label founded in 2006. It has a roster of 13 artists, which now includes (in alphabetical order): The Barr Brothers, Basia Bulat, Daniel Isaiah, Diamond Rings, Emilie & Ogden, Jesse Mac Cormack, Leif Vollebekk, Miracle Fortress, Owen Pallett, Patrick Watson, Plants and Animals, Suuns, and Thus Owls. During its 10-year history, the label has earned three gold record certifications in Canada, a Polaris Music Prize (and six additional Short List nominations), and multiple JUNO and Félix award nominations. Secret City now releases music all over the world and, to this day, continues to build its global infrastructure to support the company’s mandate and vision – to help bring great artists and their music to a global audience.
