Tito Schipa: The RCA Victor vocal series
    opera/classical | EACrip | FLAC + CUE + Booklet | 253 MB | TT: 69:55 | RS
    Originals recorded: 1925 - 1955

One of my favorite singers is Tito Schipa. Someday my singing teacher told me: "Do you want to learn singing? Then hear carefully Tito Schipa."
Schipa's voice is not impressive because its beauty. Its register was less than two octaves… You will never hear him singing a high C. But schipa has several things that many other singers haven't: He was a good musician also. Unfortunately singers are not always good musicians =(
In this esplendid selection of the RCA vocal series you will find why Schipa is a great "maestro" of vocal thecnics: modulation, messa di voce, pianissimi, a perfect diction in several languages and music phrases (every note in its right position), and above all these reasons his magnificent musicality.
I hope you enjoy this album with opera and popular songs (the last of his own authorship) and agree with me that Tito Schipa is one of the finest singers of all times.
