This album is a thrilling collaborative journal, the pages filled with the talent of exquisite musicians. The songs tell stories of contemporary life, delivered in an honest, blues-infused, sonic songbook. Tim is grateful to all of the people who have helped make his musical aspirations come alive, especially the musicians.
Chris Rival (Paula Cole, Peter Wolf, Lori McKenna) produced and recorded 'Million Stars' at his North Reading, MA studio. The 12 original songs also feature my longtime collaborator Tom West (Peter Wolf, Martin Sexton, Susan Tedeschi) on piano and organ, bassist Paul Justice, and drummer Forrest Padgett (Charles Musselwhite). Rival also provides his distinctive touch on guitar and hand percussion.
