American rock band the Dead Daisies included some of the biggest veterans in hard rock: Guns N' Roses rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus was accompanied by bass player Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy), keyboard player Dizzy Reed (Guns N' Roses), singer Jon Stevens (INXS), and drummer John Tempesta (the Cult), with guitarist Dave Lowy completing the supergroup. Rolling Stones bassist Darryl Jones, Whitesnake drummer Brian Tichy, and Nine Inch Nails drummer Alex Carapetis have also played with the band. Their 2013 EP, Man Overboard, was accompanied by two singles, including "Lock 'N' Load," which established a further link with Guns N' Roses through a guest appearance by guitarist Slash. In autumn of the same year, the group's debut self-titled album was released. Two years later they returned with their sophomore record, Revolucion, which was quickly followed in 2016 by their third full-length, Make Some Noise. The band was joined by additional members during the making of its second and third records, including John Corabi (Mötley Crüe), Jackie Barnes (Jimmy Barnes), and Bernard Fowler (the Rolling Stones). Following 2017's Live and Louder, which documented their European tour from the previous fall, the Daisies hit the studio, emerging in April 2018 with their fourth studio outing, Burn It Down.~ allmusic
