BEATLES in Australia 30th Anniversary Special! 90 minute special with RARE clips interviews footage and memories from the Beatles visit to the land downuder! This is a real entertaining special in nice quality too! Includes the documentary with NEW RARE footage, 25th anniversary look, a 40th Anniversary look and a Peter Brown interview during the 25th anniversary. Approximately 90 minutes, with chapters and menu.

It's not bad, not fantastic - the Melbourne concert is shown in truncated pieces, with most songs featured (I saw her standing there, Twist and shout, Roll over Beethoven, She loves you, Till there was you, Can't buy me Love, You can't do that, Long tall Sally). It's interspersed with interviews from Australians there at the time, and there are some snippets of a (then recent - c1994) Paul McCartney interview about it. The broadcasting channel obviously still had the footage from the concert. The picture quality is excellent.

The extras featured at the end are -
    - Raw footage from their arrival, some press conference footage with poor sound, the band and Jimmy Nicol waving at a crowd (with repeated nazi salutes and calls of "Deutschland uber alles").
    - An MTV broadcast of "Can't buy me Love" from the Melbourne concert
    - An Australian TV interview with Peter Brown about his book "The Love you make" (with yet another showing of "Can't buy me Love" from the Melbourne concert).
    - A brief retro on the Beatles from an Australian TV show about the 1960s.
    - An Australian current affair programme's 40-year annviersary clip about the tour.

The bootlegger was lazy with the artwork. First, there's no sign of a track listing, and second, the guy couldn't be bothered to check the spelling of Australia. Unbelievably sloppy.
