In 2004, Planxty veterans gathered for a concert that turned into a DVD.
I'd my apprehensions of how we would meet … Celtic-Pop? Celtic-Rock?
No.
We met with former Planxty, the legendary group that made history. Intact instrumentation, voices … some abrasion factors, but the essence remains the same.
An excellent selection of all ages.
The interesting thing is that this issue is taken entirely from the DVD. My friend Susito was kind enough to facilitate the extraction of audio from his DVD. I simply ordering this gem on 2 audio CD. One with the complete concert and one with all the extras, interviews and some songs.
It's an excellent finishing touch to end the complete official discography Planxty (thanks Susito).

En el año 2004, los veteranos Planxty se reunieron para hacer un concierto que se transformó en un DVD.
Yo tenía mis aprensiones de con qué nos íbamos a encontrar… ¿pop-celta?¿rock-celta?
No.
Nos encontramos con los antiguos Planxty, el grupo mítico que hizo historia. Instrumentación intacta, voces… algo desgatadas, pero, la esencia sigue siendo la misma.
Una excelente selección de todas sus épocas.
Lo interesante de esta edición es que está tomada íntegramente del DVD. Mi amigo Susito tuvo la gentileza de facilitarme la extracción de audio de su DVD. Yo me limité a ordenar esta joya en 2 CD de audio. Uno con el recital completo y otro con todos los extras, entrevistas y alguna canciones más.
Es un excelente broche de oro para terminar con la discografía oficial completa de Planxty (gracias Susito).
