Tical is the 1994 debut album by Clifford Smith, better known as Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man. Released by Def Jam on 15 November, 1994, this features the hits "Bring The Pain", "Release Yo Delf" and "All I Need".

Lately I been listening to some old shizno of tha members of Wu-Tang… I was flippin' through my discs thinking 'bout an album to write a little review about when I came across Method Man's debut album Tical, the 1994 CD titled after tha much loved green stuff… Mr. Tical himself busts it in a much loved way, concluding a very successful AND enjoyed album that could very possibly be listened to over and over and over and over… Mainly due to it's outrageous but flowsome lyrics, and tha very diverse style that Mr. Meth offers.

Tical, even though an older album, is probably one of the best albums released by one of the very talented Wu-Tang Clan members. Wit' certain songs like, "Release Yo' Self" which has an altered, or at least manipulated verse from tha very famous, "I Will Survive" Meth serves up an amazing mix of singing and hip-hop elements. AND no one can forget the amazing, but short, "Bring the Pain" in which Meth explains his ways of thinking. TICAL - the title track, in which tha hook "What's that sh** you Ni**az Smokin? TICAL! TICAL TICAL!" Gives it very much away what the title of this album means.

"What the blood Clot!?" Let Meth wrap a quick rhyme 'round about what IT is all about wit' that track, which is one of MY favorite songs on the album… Full of sarcastic slurs, and the 'hum' of Method Man's amazing, shallow voice. And then there is "Biscuits" (aka YOUR MOM) from the beginning Meth explains how "Yo' momma' don't where no drawls… I saw her, when she took them off!" And this CD ends with a remixed version of Wu-Tang's "M.E.T.H.O.D. Man", which is the perfect way to end off a pretty much dope album…
