    Le disque qui occupe cette page est à l'image de certains bijoux qui compensent leur faible taille par l'intensité de leur éclat. En effet, si les transcriptions étaient, à une époque, très populaires, elles n'ont que rarement égalé en notoriété les pièces auxquelles elles se rapportaient. Cela dit, quelques compositeurs parmi les plus grands du XVIIIe siècle se sont frottés avec bonheur à cette forme musicale qui, bien que revendiquant la liberté, ne trouve son salut que dans le respect des oeuvres dont elle s'inspire. C'est dans cet esprit que les soeurs Lesaulnier, Chani et Nadja, nous régalent de leurs propres transcriptions de pages écrites par Haendel, lui-même grand « amateur » du genre. Transposés pour deux clavecins, ces fragments d'opéra et de pièces orchestrales trouvent auprès de nos deux virtuoses une seconde jeunesse. Bourrée d'imagination, leur interprétation est emplie d'une sincérité enviable ; le terme « loyauté » serait même plus adapté, car il englobe des notions d'amour et de considération, ici largement présentes. Avec l'image d'un orchestre dans la tête et toujours à la recherche de la meilleure diction et des plus beaux motifs d'ornement, leurs résonnances agissent sur l'auditeur comme un philtre aux effets légèrement capiteux. Se produisant sous le nom « Le Petit Concert Baroque », leur premier enregistrement est le fruit d'un travail remarquable. De leurs instruments, elles produisent un nombre incroyable de voix, et cela avec un relief saisissant. Et les surprises ne manquent pas. La plage 10 - pour ne parler que de celle-ci - est un pur bonheur. Tirée de l'aria « Venti turbini » de Rinaldo, elle n'est pas sans nous rappeler le Cinquième Concerto brandebourgeois de Bach. C'est dire ! À la portée de tous les mélomanes, l'écoute de ce petit joyau me laisse penser que d'un côté, il y a ceux qui vont aimer, et de l'autre… ceux qui vont adorer.
