Single Cuts: The Complete Columbia UK A Sides is a 2011 1-CD compilation from the Heavy Metal gods, Judas Priest. This compilation simply covers all 19 of the band’s unique U.K. single A sides ( 7" and/or 12" ) for CBS/Columbia Records from 1977 to 1992 ( "Evening Star" was released two different times.) It includes the massive Metal anthems "Living After Midnight", "Breaking The Law", "You've Got Another Thing Coming" plus many more… Plus liner notes from Geoff Barton, founder of Kerrang!
Single Cuts will also be released as a box set. The box set was announced on June 7, 2011, for release on August 25, 2011, later delayed to October, 2011 because of "technical reasons", with free magnets being offered as a compensation for the delay to anyone who pre-ordered the box set. The box set compilation contains all 52 of the songs Judas Priest released as singles (A sides, B sides, double B sides, etc.) on CBS/Columbia Records between 1977 and 1992 in the United Kingdom.
