The legendary concerts featured in this 3-CD box set were recorded at famous venues in their hometown and capture the group at the peak of their powers. The 1st concert, recorded at Golden Gate Park on 5th July 1969 featured the group's classic line-up; as well as four numbers from their then-latest & most radically political album, 'Volunteers', it featured live favourites from the start of their career, includingtheir two biggest hit singles, 'White Rabbit' & 'Somebody To Love' alongside rarities in the form of one of their trademark improvised jams and the non-album & rarely-heard number, 'Uncle Sam Blues'. The 2nd concert was the group's last-ever performance which took place at the Winterland Arena on 22nd September 1972; the songs featured were drawn mainly from the group's last two studio albums, 'Bark' & 'Long John Silver', with a sprinkling of old favourites, the rarely-performed 'The Son Of Jesus' and more..
