IMPERIUM was formed in late 2010 by six strings duo Robert Purnell, also guitarist in the British death metal sensation TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED (Candlelight Records) and guitar virtuoso Mike Alexander. After demoing most of "Sacramentum" including the punishing anthems "Eternal Imperium" and "Final Sacramentum", the harvest for the best of the best musicians began. IMPERIUM's debut full-length record "Sacramentum" comes out 20/11/12 and was self-produced by the band in Bristol and mixed, mastered by Chuck Creese. "Sacramentum" is a modern piece of jaw-dropping brutality and punishing heaviness setting the record straight on what IMPERIUM is all about.
