Foghat - Under The Influence (2016)

Foghat keeps going and going and we don’t plan to stop. Our new album, Under the Influence is in the final mixing stages and the official release date is June 24th!

Over 2 years in the making this record has been a lot of fun to write and record. We started out at our studio “Boogie Motel South” in Florida, writing and recording with the band and our friend and great guitarist Scott Holt. In 2015 we decided to work with our friend, Grammy winning writer/producer Tom Hambridge and he was the ‘icing on the cake’. Just fantastic to work with and he brought out the best in everyone.

We decided to go to the beautiful Dark Horse Studios in Franklin, Tennessee to complete the project where we co-wrote a couple of songs with Tom and flew in some very special guests such as Kim Simmonds (Savoy Brown) and Nick Jameson (former Foghat Producer/Bassist) to add to the fun! And then we asked the amazing Dana Fuchs to sing on a couple of tracks and the project was complete! We have several new songs, a couple of Savoy Brown songs, and a couple of ‘covers’ and we are very excited about this record!
