Compilation featuring four classic Earache bands – Carcass, Entombed, Cathedral and Confessor, housed in a gatefold sleeve- Originally released as four separate EP’s to commemorate the infamous ‘Gods Of Grind Tour’ in 1992 featuring all four acts- The Carcass tracks were recorded during the ‘Necroticism – Descanting the Insalubrious’ period and feature three non-album tracks- The Entombed tracks come from the ‘Clandestine’ period and feature two non-album tracks- The Cathedral tracks come from the ‘Forest of Equilibrium’ period and feature 4 non-album recordings- The Confessor tracks come from the ‘Condemned’ period and feature 2 non-album tracks, both cover versions of doom legends Trouble. Regardless of the name of the release, Carcass is the only band playing grindcore on the split.
