Dusty Good Music is a band made up of Dusty Good, Robin Sky, and Cara Tackett. It’s a band that makes music for moods. No, it’s not the same as making music to “put you in THE mood,” but it’s music that has been shaped and molded by a life of person who’s roots run throughout the gauntlet of emotions.
From growing up in rural Tennessee, to touring at the age of 19, to serving in the Navy, to treatment for bipolar disorder, Dusty’s music has always reflected a life based in reality. A reality that is always changing, ever subjective. And songs that tell the story from unique points of view.

It was never meant to be music that would catch the eye, or the ear, of the casual listener, but instead music that was supposed to place the listener in an unlimited world of possibility. From being uncomfortable, to being challenged. Dusty Good’s music is just that: music.
