A live performance of trumpeter Don Cherry's quintet by a radio station in Denmark. Probably the most multiracial quartet ever (American trumpeter, Hispanic saxophonist, Italian drummer, German vibraphonist, and Danish bassist). Overall, it's pretty accessible album as far as "free jazz" goes, and of course I'm a sucker for anything this guy composes. There are heavy blowing moments but Karl Berger's vibes provide a nice foil to it.
