The music of the trio forms a sensitive sound cosmos that defines expressivity and is always in search of new forms of expression. This is further developed with a consistency that is not based on short-term fashion trends, but on independence and maturity. The current release of "out of print" leads to new paths - this time in collaboration with the Colombian Manolov String Quartet. This mixture of jazz and new classical music, enriched with a pinch of world music, makes you curious. Each of the nine titles, all written by pianist Volker Kottenhahn and bassist Dirk Strakhof, has its very own character and, like a mosaic, becomes a total work of art titled "remember november in december", which contains a gripping variety of moods and styles.
