Flight marks Stapleton’s seventh release and he has chosen to use the opportunity to produce a record that reaches far beyond easy categorisation. Already recognised as a writer of beautiful, lyrical tunes, Flight marks a giant leap forward and establishes him as one of the most ambitious composers in jazz.
