The Debut album from Cody Moffett shows that he is indeed a very fine drummer.He is trying very hard here to prove his status among the elite of jazz drummers, and at certain very brief times he tries just that little too hard which results in over drumming.That said however, this is a fine album with a nice reading of John Coltrane's "Equinox" and the wonderful ballad "Beautiful Love".
