Please note that this (again) is a historic performance [coming from a radio live broadcast of 1948] and - even if digitally remastered by Gary Moore with greatest care - some surface noise, ticks and distortions are clearly audible. This is my penultimate release within "my" Mewton-Wood series (the ABC 3-CD box set will follow soon), and it is mainly addressed to connoisseurs and lovers of the music of either Beecham and/or Mewton-Wood. Because of the (at least partial) lower sound quality, this performance is to discover this concerto of Busoni.
